P-532 Armory MCB Camp Pendleton

Delivery of an upgraded and ground-breaking P-532 Armory Building providing weapons storage and maintenance at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton was essential to fulfilling the 1st Marine Division mission to locate and destroy the enemy by fire and maneuver. The A&D team had the opportunity to address myriad of items on the P-532 Armory Building , right down to the minutest details impacting security.

The A&D team established industry standards for quality, design, safety and innovation on some critical design and construction elements throughout the P-532 Armory Building development. In a design-build team effort A&D led the charge in closely coordinating with end-users, base personnel and NAVFAC staff during several design meetings aimed at fostering a unique interactive design process. This resulted in numerous innovative design solutions that were so successful they became new standards for the Marine Corps nationwide.
